Master Francisco Quintero is a co-author, with Master Zhi Gang Sha and Master Maya Mackie, of the new book Greatest Love: Unblock Your Life in 30 Minutes a Day with the Power of Unconditional Love. He teaches at the Tao Academy and has developed training programs around the world.
Q: What were some of the main ideas behind this book?
A: The original idea came about two years ago when Master Zhi Gang Sha received a message from heaven about 10 greatest qualities. Greatest love, greatest forgiveness, greatest compassion, greatest flourishing are some examples.
When we apply these qualities our lives can heal and flourish. One of the most important was greatest love: how to apply love to heal your life. It’s something the public could understand and use.
Q: The book’s subtitle mentions 30 minutes a day. What do you see as the right approach toward using the material in the book?
A: The 30 minutes is the amount of time you’d spend practicing. A lot of examples you find in the book are spiritual practices. You apply the chanting practice when you chant “greatest love”—it takes time to uplift your frequency.
I have been using these practices for 17 years. The first few minutes, you’re just thinking about your daily life. Then your mind becomes more quiet and able to connect…
A: The most important that we hope everybody can connect to and apply is the calligraphy [on page 52 of the book]. It was written by Master Sha in a unique form, a oneness stroke. Traditional Chinese calligraphy has many strokes, but he wrote it with one stroke.
When you trace it with your fingers, put your five fingers together and trace it, you’re receiving a higher frequency vibration because Master Sha has blessed the calligraphy. You’re able to transform negative messages to positive messages. Using the calligraphy and chanting “greatest love” is what we hope everyone will do. It can transform your life in many ways.
Q: How have these principles affected you personally?
A: Eighteen years ago, I was a middle school mathematics teacher. I taught for 10 years. My first year teaching, I got high blood pressure. I was 27 years old and had 190 over 80, which is very high for someone who’s 27. I could feel the pressure in my veins.
I saw my mother at the same time had high blood pressure, and the doctors were increasing her medication [but she experienced] no changes. I made a personal decision that I wanted to find a different way to heal myself.
I came across a flyer, Qigong for healing, and the teacher knew Master Sha. [I learned] the teaching techniques in this book, in an earlier version of the book. It worked for me, and I was able to normalize my blood pressure after six months.
I wasn’t spiritual and I didn’t know about spiritual healing. But it worked for me and I wanted to know more about these teachings. I wanted to teach others. That’s how my journey began.
Q: What are you working on now?
A: There will be a future book, Greatest Forgiveness. You got a taste of forgiveness in this book. Every practice has a forgiveness practice. We need to forgive ourselves and forgive others.
Forgiveness is very important in our daily lives. It’s another quality of life to have greater success and be healthy and happy.
Q: Anything else we should know?
The greatest love is an important message for humanity, for everyone right now. There are challenges on Mother Earth. The techniques can be applied for every aspect of life…Everyone has a struggle that they can use the techniques to transform.
Sometimes people expect instant healing. Give it time. It took me six months. You will notice the benefits.
